They must have really been bad in practice. Murphy took down USC and Brissett played well against the Criminoles. Objectively, why don't you think they were used during the game? We now know what they are capable of, once they allowed to get snaps during practice. Would JD be able to beat USC or score on the Criminoles? Muschamp still is going with JD because freshman are not ready, though Manziel somehow won the Heisman. I have never anybody in my life that has been so stubborn.

Tyler Murphy was 5-13, 54 yards, 0 TD, 1 INT against USC. He ran for a lot of yards but he is terrible throwing the ball too. Brissett was awful here as well...

Brissett is now 0-2 verses the semenholes. JD is 1-0.

You guys can't be serious, Brisset is by far the better Qb. Although I Want driskel to succeed I don't think he has enough mental strength to do it. We beat the noles running it in 2012 and with turnovers. Brisset through the ball all over them and if he had a defense would've beat them.

Who said anything about Driskel being better? I just stated their records against fsucks.

How did JD do against Alabama again? This is the same argument they were using against Tebow in the NFL when he was winning big games. Keep in mind, we are comparing these two QBs with minimal practice against JD, who has had years of experience. Winner win big games.

So Driskel is a winner because he has won big games? Name one big game Brissett has won.

Murphy hasn't had a single game without throwing an INT (5 games), and just lost at home to Colorado St. Also lost by double digits to Pittsburgh, who just managed to lose by double digits to Akron.

Brissett has had a good season, although the first 4 teams he played barely had a pulse, and FSU's defense was non-existent in the 1st quarter. Brissett pulled a great disappearing act in the 2nd half of the FSU game. Turned the ball over twice in key moments, and the longest pass he completed in the 2nd half was 13 yards.

And as I've said before, Brissett never did anything in practice or games to show that he was capable of being the starting QB. Cam Newton sucked ass while he was here and ended up winning the Heisman, sometimes all a player needs is a change of scenery. (and before we predictably go blaming the coaching staff, Newton sucked with Meyer and Mullen coaching him, the same guys who brought Tebow the Heisman)

JD is just not a starting material for the university of Florida imo

Is that the game where JD scored 1 TD because of the defense (just like the Bama game), and the D scored 2 TD? The one where he had 147 yards? The one where 2012 Criminoles were ranked lower than USC and 2014 Criminoles? The one where he had more experience than the other 2 QBs? THAT game is the one that shows he is better than the other 2 QBs?

Don't forget that both Newton and Brissett had a year away from here before they actually started looking like QBs. I dont know if it was something mentally, the coaches or the team but something changed in them once they left. I think Brissett would be just as bad if he had stayed.

Making an argument for Newton would be muche easier but doesnt really matter since that coach and player is long gone.

Defense didn't score two TDs against FSU in 2012. They did force 5 turnovers, though. It was a great team win.

How many TDs did JB score against the #1 Criminoles? How many yards?

So what does losing to Colorado State and Pittsburgh make him? A winner?

Good news is that Boston College is playing NCSU this weekend and starts just about the time UF/tenn will finish and you all can switch over and touch yourselves while watching this fantastic matchup of former stud UF QB's

Brissett has been in the system for two years. A system that currently have at least 2 if not 3 quarterbacks that started on Sunday. So comparing Brissett a guy who has been in the system two years, compared to a Driskel who has been in his system for less than a year. Those are not comparible.

No, this makes him a QB with limited experience and no defense. What is JD's excuse? He's had good defenses and years of experience. You are comparing apples to oranges. After 4 years, lets see how these QBs look. Lets give them our defense, and see how they look. What I saw last Saturday, was JB lighting up the Criminoles. If they had a defense they would have crushed them instead of losing.

You mean a defense that just gave up 645 yards to bama? The worst defensive performance in school history? That defense?

I think its cool now that black coaches like Tomlin can become retreads like the old days. Used to be they would hire an old coach over and over before a Tomlin got a chance..............Does Cignetti get some attention by the NFL. Anyone watching the Oklahoma game tonight
