After last week I was excited to watch FL football. I wanted him gone last year, but after last week I thought that Florida football might be back. After EMU I was willing to give him another chance. All I saw was the same thing as last year. Yes we won, but it was KY. And we had to go to 3X OT to pull it off. Sad. Nobody fears the Swamp. We will not be ranked for the next 3 years. If you want mediocre, we have mediocre. I do not blame the defense. They were living on the field once again and had a good half. Muschamp is not cut out for this. That delay of game penalty on the punt tells you everything you need to know about his coaching. Is there a point in keeping him? Hand the keys to Roper, while we try to steal a good coach. We are not going to win against any good teams. We may lose to a bad team like we almost did tonight.

I actually think his downfall now will 100% be Driskel and being so hard headed on him playing. I think Muschamp did finally let go of the offensive philosophy this season but Driskel seems not to be able to even know when to run in this offense besides his reckless passing when under pressure.

So, who shoulders that blame? Roper?

No - Muschamp does - he has made it clear the whole time Driskel was his guy

And if you were on the hot seat, as he most certainly is, you would start one of two true freshmen?

Start? No, but maybe mix it up in the 3rd. Hot seat should enlarge gonad size.

If there was some breathing room, I could see it, but there wasn't in this game. I'm certain they have plays and plans to get Harris in games, it just didn't work out that way tonight. Sure Harris looked really good against a really bad EMU secondary, but that was 2 throws, and he's still a true freshman. The last thing you want to do is throw him in there, have him screw up, and he lose his confidence. Driskel has his flaws for sure, but he completed almost 60% of his passes, for nearly 300 yards with 3 TD's. I don't know about you, but that stat line is usually considered pretty damn good for most people. Harris will get his time...tonight was not the occasion for that.

Yes with how bad Driskel was - it worked with Murphy until his injury.

So you'd start one of two QB's with a total of ZERO real SEC game time experience, over a guy who just threw almost 60% completions, nearly 300 yards, and 3 TD's?
Based on what?

Sure. But something was wrong tonight, and I'm not enough of an expert to put my finger on it. Maybe, KY jelly works better than I thought it did :)

How long would it have been till Spurrier yanked Driskel tonight even with a freshman backup?

Well he's not perfect But keep an eye on who these "over throws" are too. Amazingly, he finds a way to hit Robinson damn near every time...yet Dunbar always seems to get "over thrown".

Commendable, but you're reaching.

Third series at the latest, but the same can be said of his entire career except maybe the FSU game in 12.

Call me a pumper if you want. This team is better than last year. Last year we would've lost that game. after a horrific 1st half JD came out in the second half and threw better than 70%. Il take that and we had a 200 yard WR & 100 yard RB. That I will also take. My bold prediction is that Ky will beat a good SEC team this year either MIZZ, SC or one of their SEC West opponents.

No we probably would have won last year because we would have pounded it which was working better and it would have took Driskel's decision making out of the equation some.

I would disagree. We needed Robinson last night hell his 216 yards and 2 TDs was almost not enough.that we didn't have last year.
