In retrospect, I felt like Luke could have been the Hunter Biden of UF QBs with a little more effort.

As for the game's defensive MVP, the ball finds Dean everywhere he goes. The Florida safety showed in the game how he can aggressively attack the line of scrimmage in run support, play in the slot or second level of the defense, and be a ball magnet as a deep safety. Dean's versatility, play demeanor, and ability to find the football scream Patriots safety, and it helps that he balled out on their squad.
Every year it's the same story. Guys who we're told suck here and make our genius coaches look bad magically do better under NFL coaches. Sooner or later some of you will start putting 2 and 2 together.Trey Dean won the defensive MVP of the Shrine Bowl.

God almighty preach it please. So sick of this trend. We've hired garbage coach after garbage coach and act surprised when the blue chip players don't play well.Every year it's the same story. Give us the supposedly long list of players you are babbling about. Be specific. Omit nothing.Every year it's the same story. Guys who we're told suck here and make our genius coaches look bad magically do better under NFL coaches. Sooner or later some of you will start putting 2 and 2 together.
Are you honestly trying to tell us that Trey Dean is going to kill it in the NFL? Please tell me you are going on record with that one.God almighty preach it please. So sick of this trend. We've hired garbage coach after garbage coach and act surprised when the blue chip players don't play well.
I'm not doing your homework for you.Give us the supposedly long list of players you are babbling about. Be specific. Omit nothing.
im telling you we've had a coaching problem for years, and bad coaching wastes player talent. please tell me how you disagree with that. Are you honestly trying to tell us that Trey Dean is going to kill it in the NFL? Please tell me you are going on record with that one.
99% of the players who sucked at UF (under any coach, including SOS) either never made the NFL at all or sucked in the NFL and were benched or cut quickly.
I think our coaching has been great for decades. Not a single bad apple.im telling you we've had a coaching problem for years, and bad coaching wastes player talent. please tell me how you disagree with that.
So damn many you can't even think of one, eh?I'm not doing your homework for you.
tell ya what, if he makes a roster and ends up starting ill ban you for 6 months, if he is a backup or gets cut itll ony be 3.Assuming Dean even makes an NFL roster (which I doubt), he'll be flushed out of the league quickly.
Napier was looking at him while he was a recruit. The one thing he hit on in his presser is that he's been a starter for 3 years, albeit in a shyt system with 3 OC's at Wisky. With what Napier is assembling on the OL and the WR group that is coming in to supplement what we have, this kid just needs to do what he's told. If he can manage things, then it will be fine until Lagway arrives. He did say they evaluated 24 guys. He said Paul Chryst lauded Mertz’s work ethic. He noted his physical tools and ability. He didn’t say Mertz was their top target, but he obviously met their evaluation standards. There are no sure bets among the QB transfers.
I’m hopeful that Billy can coach & scheme Mertz into better decisions, and our WRs can be better targets than what he has known.
Curious who may get added at QB in May. Wonder how Max Brown is progressing.
So damn many you can't even think of one, eh?
And we all know what a great evaluator of talent the Donkey was. Tell him Trask is still banging his wife the next time you talk to himEven Donkey emailed me to weigh in on this one:
"LOLOL, finally Trey Dean found a playbook he can handle, 4-3 zone or 4-3 man, no blitz, no scrapes, no line games, no nuthin.
Trey Dean doesn't make it past the first cuts if some team is dumb enough to draft him.
If he does last it will be due to injuries and possibly a ST role.
There were some dumbass people thinking Stiner and Taylor were a great safety combo too."
so you're hoping for only 3 months off. noted.Even Donkey emailed me to weigh in on this one:
