Yes. I have always thought it would be Ron in charge of the D. Too many titles and names going with position coaches. But in all to me it was the D needed a fix, AA needs help, and Ron, his mentor was available. Help AA and could see Ron retiring in a few years. But to me it's going to be Ron in charge. CBN was not going to demote him right, wrong, or indifferent.

Failing assistants don’t need help, they need to be fired. Billy Moron (or BM for short) is too stubborn and stupid to admit when he makes a mistake. His recent presser should have started with anger about the results of his first two seasons, taking responsibility for his failure , apologizing to the alumni and fans, and a list of all the changes he made to his staff and their responsibilities as recruiters and for their group’s on-field performance. Instead it’s the same trust the process, we are close and going ahead with the same staff but we are applying some band-aids. The only coaches he fired were the “upity” ones not buying into the process which is code for openly discussing what a fuching dumbass he is.

He has literally said with all seriousness over the last few weeks that he’s hiring a coach to coach his incompetent previous hires, that he wants to thank a staff member for his productive 5 weeks of service, and that he is going to continue to call the plays because he’s convinced there’s no one he could hire that could do a better job and there would be no benefit to him having time to focus on his in game coaching decisions. The man is a moron and an egomaniac which gets us exactly what we’ve seen up to this point.

Starting to seriously wonder if @lagator ends up making the trip over for a game this year. A month ago, I would’ve said definitely. Now I’m not so sure.
