Dude commits to Iowa. Then signs with Bammer, plays one year. Teleports to IA, collects $100 large, then teleports back to Bammer, having never played a down for the Squawkeyez.

Sis his decision to dump the Iowegians the first time was not about money.

It is always about the money.

It’s huge. And the money isn’t just what the teams’ collectives are paying. For the elite difference makers, it’s also about developing your brand.

For example: Did Caleb Williams make more from USC or Dr. Pepper?

A star player moving from Iowa to OSU or Bama might raise his profile for national advertising, social media hits, etc. Only the markets define it.

Pretty sure people who believe that the players are getting 100k or a million for signing are wrong. They might get that over time, but not day 1.

Some of these kids are also learning that if they do not perform they're not getting what they were promised. If you're a five star kid expected to be an immediate starter and you end up as a scout squad player, then you don't get all that money. This is likely what happened to most of the Texas A&M kids.

So you’re suggesting that NIL money is not only “pay for play “ money but it’s “pay for performance?”

But, but, but that’s against the rules!!

Performance is attracting advertising, or maybe doing podcasts etc. If you are sucking on the scout team, no one wants to see your face on their podcast or product.
