Based on the DC hire, Ingram is about 10 years too old with too much success for us to consider him. If he can get a Sunbelt team or Community College to a .500 record then we'd consider bringing him in

Mike Peterson on line one...

Ah yes, forgot all former Gators are above any slight criticisms and if you do criticize them, you automatically hate said coach

Nuance isn’t your thing, is it?

Lol...I'll see your nuance and raise you a reading comprehension. I get your point but I never mentioned hating anyone.

Heard a rumor Billy isn’t hiring any other coaches and will now coach WRs and TEs along with being HC, OC and QB coach. Big if true.

No. And it hasn’t actually even been close.
Every time we need a WR coach I think of him. My only question is whether or not he’d be a fit in the current recruiting environment.

But he always got open and never dropped a pass, and coaches his guys to do the same. Great guy, great coach and great Gator.

Agreed. It was the only move that I didn’t like from Meyer. I get that there were offensive scheme translation issues, but Dixon had been such a huge part of our culture for a while. Not sure why we’ve never reached out to get him back, across four staffs. Perhaps he’s happy elsewhere.
