If nothing else it certainly creates more competition which in turn should improve overall quality of our line play. In the past 3 or 4 years it almost seemed that guys were handed starting positions on the offensive line, but the reality was there really wasn't much behind the starters to push them to improve. I hate the fact that we will in all likelihood have to play a lot of freshmen on our line but it bodes well for us in the future that so many guys in the same class will be competing against each other to be in the rotation.

His father is Tony McCoy. That's all I need to know. Great Gator!

I didn't realize that, now I really like it. Pops played with a chip on his shoulder - watched him plant Marino in the Joe Robbie turf too many times.

Another big OL body and immediately available, SWEET!
now we need some linebackers, where are all of those?
I don't see Morrison being ready to go this season. I would redshirt instead of play a couple games at the end of the season, but that's just me.

Sad to hear about Tony's leukemia. I hope he gets well soon and beats it. Tony was an Honorable Mention all-american, and was voted MVP by his teammates. He became a pastor after football.

Hope Tony beats this again.

Anyone know why we didn't recruit a legacy?

Hate to hear about his dad. That is a tough disease to beat. But I am happy that he is a Gator, and it's nice that we're getting more bodies on the O-line. Looks like we may avoid having to play walk-ons after all.

Terrible news about Tony, but great news for the Gators that TJ will be wearing the O&B. JMac has been working his tail off to try and build us an O-Line ASAP. Gotta love this guy's drive to get things turned around in a hurry!

We'll have to wait on the LB'S until next year. BTW...Morrison will be back (barring another injury) by the Tennessee game.

This is a great get to add depth and the fact that he has been working at NC State in the summer and getting used to college level competition is good, but I am still unsure how much a true freshman will really help us. Would love to see one more experienced transfer come in.

Either way.. the staff has done a great job negating some of the Muschamp mistakes.

I hope your CFB career and your father's treatment at Shands gives you endearing memories at Gainesville.

So.... should I ask why the past two regimes didn't bother to correct their classes of only 2 OL in 2010, 2011, and 2012? MacTatersalad using some Jedi mindtricks that are illegal for all other coaches? And why didn't the AD notice the coaches were destroying the program?

I am mourning the loss of hundreds of Fuchs jokes.
