If they were serious about, they wouldn't allow players in the league with a criminal record. This just a PR stunt.

Breaking News: F$U files a class action lawsuit against the NFL! Their main complaint is that it discriminates against the school and there will be zero representation from their school if this is held up.

^This. It does hurt some potential candidates, but for the most part if a team is interested they will go to the school or fly the player out to them. It's the league trying to get ahead of the media/backlash, when it is too far behind already.

Not a problem for FSU. Tally LE doesn't t arrest FSU players for domestic violence. They give warnings for other types of disturbances instead.

I don't know why this pisses me off so much. It's just a law of nature. You don't piss in the wind. You don't stand on superman's cape. And you don't hit a woman...
Unless you're playing naughty school girl meets the principal and someone wants a spanking.

Exactly. It said 'convicted' and we all know there are rarely convictions related to FSU thugs hitting/raping women, stealing crab legs/shoes, etc.
Reminds of the WKRP episode where Johnny Fever is asked if he's ever been convicted of a crime, and he responds: "Convicted?............No."
