Considering the loss of KJ, White has done a pretty dam good job this year in my opinion. After the high of winning at WVU on the road, the team lost concentration with a major letdown game. Then on the road at one of the top 5 hottest teams in the country lead to a 2 game losing streak and I think most here expected the team to finally fold to the pressures of the strangest BB season in our history and collapse to the finish line dropping out of the NCAA bracket. Instead they regrouped and refocused and have won 3 in a row, 2 on the road to put us as a solid seven seed with some momentum and lots left to play for. I'm actually surprised and have to give the coaches credit.

Now they have to figure out what's wrong with Lewis. Yeah, it has become obvious that he just isn't all that skilled, but that doesn't explain why the fastest guy in the league with one of the highest verticals can't get a single effing rebound. Same goes for Payne. I wouldn't be surprised to see one or both end up as transfers because for whatever reason, things just aren't working out. I'd love to see the light come on for one or both because they are 2 of the best athletes on the team.

No one will ever be better than Billy D at UF cause they would have to win 3 NCs here and if you look around the country only a few coaches have even done that and it took them 30 years to do it so its never gonna happen here.
It’s not likely but never say never. None of us had any idea Billy would grow into one of the greats. He took his lumps early, but he figured it out.
That said, White ain’t it.

There should be a courtside "overlord" who can foul out a referee.
Don't have to compare White to Donavon: just compare him to the coaches he faces.

I was following the game and was afraid of the ole Mike White no offense in the last 7 minutes. So this was a complete surprise. Winning at Rupp is always a great thing, and most especially because I can't stand Calipari. Go Gators!

What is "unusual" & "usual" with HC Mike White is the periodic backsliding - everpresent. When we perform well, White loses the team's focus. They play sloppy with zero awareness.

"Mike White ball" didn't screw us at the end against UK due to the players refusing to collapse. Maybe it will benefit them to learn that there are no "guidance-pearls" coming from their coach? ... that they must win in spite of White's guidance drought? These players have to overcome White's forgetting how they should successfully implement an "in-bounds" pass late in the game.??
Essentially, White's ceiling is too low for UF, for the even weak SEC.

Out of curiosity, I watched some of Arkanas' last game. Arky is the hottest team right now. They have a 7'3" sophomore who plays 17 minutes per game. He averages 7.2 ppg. He hits about a third of his 3s (he's shot 67 3s) The amazing stat is that he's hitting 95.2% of his FTs (20 of 21). 7'3", 247 lbs.

2 teams that are reeling and are up against a wall looking for a big win. The last time we played Mizzou last year, they destroyed us so they know they can do it again. Do we have what it takes to get revenge against them tonight with what they did to us last year? We have to play great defense or else they will light it up against us again. Tenn will be looking for revenge against us from the beatdown we put on them earlier this season. We are have to ready for both games or else we will be on the outside looking in come selection Sunday.

This is a huge game tonight; for the mindset of the team, SEC and NCAA tournament seeding and especially for the fans to maybe get some confidence in what CMW is doing.

Yeah, I don't see that happening. Do you?

If it did, I'm sure those on 'the committee' will either retaliate or be shot so someone else can push the button.

Tenn will be looking for revenge against us from the beatdown we put on them earlier this season.

TN lost at home 70-55 recently to KY. The same KY we just beat. They know they can lose, and we know we can beat them. Question will be which team shows up for each.
