We got a specialist rebounding coach and blocking out isn't in our guys' repertoire.

Florida is up 37-26 at the half. 3pt shooting overall is the difference. Some nice I side buckets once Nembhard came back in to extend the lead

1) Well, excited seeing KJohnson's quick-jump ability and athleticism.
2) Glad for Hayes newfound shooter's soft touch at kissing it off glass.
3) Can this game turn Hudson into the 'has-been" we'd love to have back?
4) Driving should command good things to happen, if teammates have practiced following in practices.
5) IMO Hayes & Stokes can work together to create inside scoring threats, if they press the rim.
6) Guess we shouldn't overlook that FCG isn't a good team.

If this is a mini-tournament how come UF & FSU won't square off. (Lord, glad they don't.)

Locke is becoming our most important shoot-maker.
KJonhson is showing first-stringiness. He holds his own inside.
2 freshmen presenting leadership.
*** Look at Hayes on the sideline -- he can't sit down and at each Gator jumpshot he jumps & puts body english on it. He was especially joyous at Hudson's 4th three, holding up 4 fingers' celebration.

Florida is up 68-42 at the under 8 timeout. 3-4 amazing possession with set plays against the zone. Using Stokes' passing for 2 easy 2pters and then a 1 handed left handed zip pass from Nembhard sets up a layup for Ballard

TOTAL blowout and domination by the Gators! Great coaching by White to get this team ready and prepared for a hard nosed team. Breakout game for Hudson? Hayes a monster again with 12 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 blocks. New coach is really helping him out down low. We will take the wins when we can get them. Go Gators!!

Florida wins 77-56. Lots of positives. White even took an unneeded technical foul coming out of a timeout (on purpose is my guess). We shot the ball with more confidence and in the 2nd half got inside against the zone some

I like the "style" of play that Locke & Johnson avails this team. This is the way this team should have been at the beginning of our season. Then perfecting it from there. A seeming flaw though is Allen's scoring disappears when Hudson's comes online.? Allen is more solid O & D player.

Watched it with my brother (an FGCU alum); this was probably our most complete game in terms of turning in good performances on both ends of the court--and Hudson showing some life with multiple 3s for the first time all season.

Next Saturday 4PM rematch with Butler ESPNU.
Hope to see our Locke-Hayes empowered high % FG team? Nembhard & Allen need to have a better game. IMO KJohnson can add new firepower inside where we have flubbed so much. This team arrangement, this HC is still a puzzling mystery as to team operational identity.?

I saw 2/3rd's of the game and perhaps Mike has been reading the bball board here as for a good part of that time, the zone offense was completely different. I actually saw guys cutting thru the lane with a purpose, not necessarily to receive the ball, but as I have been harping on for years, to move the defense. If you are not going to dribble into the seams of a zone, then you must create movement, opening up better passing angles for shots. Kudos to the staff for finally making an adjustment. With that said, Gulf Coast is awful and I can't imagine they are even a threat in their own conference. But that does not matter nor does the score. What matters to me was to see some changes on offense. Those changes won;t yield as many clean looks against better competition, but it will create better opportunities in those games, as opposed to just lazily passing the ball around the perimeter.
