As for the game.....G-W has four players on the roster from the Sunshine State, two are starters:
David Efianayi, junior 6'2" wing (Orlando, Ocoee HS) - best returnee - slasher and very athletic
DJ Laster, junior 6'6" forward/center (Pensacola, Pensacola CatholicHS) - nice inside player for his size
Brandon Miller, junior 6'6" forward/center (Orlando, Univ. Christian School) - first off bench, really should be starter
Nate Johnston, redshirt freshman, 6'4" guard (Miami, McArthur HS) - young bench player
We are very weak at the point this season, we have two very young talented PG in Turner and Cornwall. Chiozza will school them, but the learning experience for both of our guys will pay off.
G-W has no size, but relies on effort and the three ball. We shot poorly at scUM, 32% from the field, 25% from 3 and only 1-6 FT. Got to at least shoot over 40% to make the game respectable. Efianayi, Robateau, and OReilly off the bench are the top three shooters from deep.
I think playing UF within 15 would be a great accomplishment, but a 30 point margin like the other night at scUM is more likely. G-W won't be intimidated by atmosphere, and we did manage to win at Nebraska last season, and have managed to pull of road wins in the past against Purdue, Clemson, and of course, the program is 1-0 all-time at Rupp Arena.
