Pretty much the same. Due to B'ham it would be a drive in for the game only then leave.

Yes, very sad. What kind of moron schedules a bowl game on a Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. on Jan. 3rd?
How terribly inconvenient of them...

With what I have going on with family visiting around that time, I can't go. Still bitter about being wrong?

The real game between these two teams will be Sept. 2nd not in Jan.

I'm glad we get to scout them before next season when it matters more. Scouting us won't be nearly as valuable for them with the staff changes. This is a potentially dangerous team especially early in the season.

Games against midmajor directional schools aren't real games.

I'll be at that one! :dance2:

I always make it to at least one game the first year of a new coach. Not sure if it'll be this game, but definitely will be there next year.

I'm not expecting much to be honest, the coaches will already know if they are staying or going (most will be going I think and they'll be looking forward to securing new employment), I also doubt the kids who have declared or are Muschamp lovers leaving the program are going to leave it all on the field either. But I hope for the best, and the practices will give coach the opportunity to evaluate the players he will have to work with.

I hope that anybody who does not want to play is left home, better to lose with Gators that win with folks who don't want to be Gators any more. Including any coaches they don't get paid and can leave.

Hopefully Durkin has learned what happens when a defensive head coach tries to hogtie his OC. I have a sneaking suspicion we might see a much more active Offense. What is there to lose? If nothing else start letting the kids give this forward pass thing a go since it looks like it might be in the playbook next year.

Why would Roper pay any attention to whatever Durkin might want. Win the game with offense if you can.

I would imagine that the only involvement Durkin will have with the offense is being aware of the overall gameplan and deciding whether to go for it on 4th down. He'll let Roper do his job.

You wanted to go to Birmingham to watch us play a directional school?

Yeah. Haven't seen em in a few years due to my boycott of WM. It's only a 2 1/2 drive from ATL.

I would like to go to support the players and show our new coach what Gators do. It is fairly close, but the weather and my various issues make it less appealing than an indoor facility. I also hear that the stadium is a dump. If I could get seats in a room I would probably go.
