@LeeForThree Since Eggy has been out, what has been our best lineup? Are we better with playing a big in Hayes/Rimmer/Gak or are we better going smaller with a shooting lineup with Stone at center?
Depends on the matchups in a given game. I think playing Hayes is our best option, but vs Vandy we really should mix it up but have Hayes play way more than last Saturday

I do not think that Vandy is as bad a matchup for UF as most people think, especially without Eggy. I get the argument for Hayes playing more than he did last Saturday, but that allows for a bad matchup if UF switches all screens. I think playing a combo of Leon, Stone, Robinson is sufficient on Kornet. That also allows you to switch all screens on the perimeter. If Vandy wants to put Kornet in the post with his back to the basket when someone other than Hayes is guarding him, then I say go right ahead. Do not double team him and let him beat you 2 at a time. That is much less painful then Vandy shooting and making a good % of threes. I would disdain all double teams and forgo weakside help against a penetrating guard. Be completely cognizant of the arc and pay more attention to guarding the arc than say preventing a guy from getting to the basket. When you help by sinking into the lane, those kickout passes will kill you against Vandy.

For once I agree with FireFoley!! We have tried everything you said against Vandy and it has worked to a degree. We just haven't been able to get over the hump against them with 2 two point losses to them. They get EVERY lucky bounce of the ball so its time for us to finally beat them hopefully. We need big games from Barry Allen and hopefully Hayes and/or DRob steps up with a double double. Go Gators!!

If Hill would have a good game we beat Vandy most likely. He needs to stop being out of control so much when trying to score.

I created a sportsbook event if anyone is interested. My apologies in advance for the lack of time to make wagers. I intended to post this last night, as I was up at Midnight, but the damn line wasn't out till today. This is my earliest opportunity.

It will take a full team effort, they looked very poor in the first half against TAM, but came out offensively in the second half. When you have them down you need to keep your foot on them.

Not real sure how this one will turn out.

Although I agree that Vandy is a bad match up for us I am not sure that is the entire story.
I am concerned that White is facing the real SEC COY again today since Drew seems to have all the answers and adjustments and White does not.
If you disagree with my comment, ask yourself if Drew could beat White if they swapped rosters.

The good news is that these two coaches appear poised to battle each other for several years. Let's hope White turns it around

I realize you are placing a lot of weight on the head-to-head here, otherwise White is clearly the better coach. Just look at what each of these teams has done this season when not playing each other. UF and White are clearly a better team/coach

Drew inherited a pretty solid roster too. He his team just underachieved imo. Lechance, Kornet and fisher-davis would all start or play alot of minutes on our squad.

Just placed 7 bets - all 7 on the Gators to do well. Of course, $110 on each.
Go Gators!
