Great song that should stay forever.

Agreed. That donk hates the song and anything else from Tom Petty just cements my position. I get that Tom Petty isn’t the greatest musician to walk the Earth, but Tom Petty is a Gainesville native and I like his music. Did I mention Tom Petty by name too much? I guess donk will demand that I get permabanned for mentioning Tom Petty’s name even once…

Btw, outside of the SOS era, has donk ever talked about anything he actually likes?

Did you notice early on the game they all but dismissed the idea of Napier becoming the head coach, despite saying that he appeared to be the favorite? They immediately went to their list of minority guys coaching at unheard of schools. Then topped it off by saying Deion would be a good choice because “ once you get to this level of coaching, the fans don’t care about what school a guy came from.

These guys are so out of touch, they must be … woke.

If Deon had been named our coach, I would have quit football forever. And I bet 9 out of 10 Gator fans would have followed suit.

Going to a bowl game will be a complete waste of time. Other have mentioned it. 10 or so more practices of bad coaching, poor techniques and lack of discipline and awareness would be detrimental to any new coach.

I tend to agree.

Mark Jones is that racist clown who said he feared cops, but gladly accepts a police escort to each game from his hotel. When he did an Atlanta Hawks playoff game this past spring in Atlanta he literally went full "ghetto/street" on air talking about ATL, etc. Boggles my mind why people cannot just simply do their job and stop making EVERYTHING about race.

Actually Mark Jones announced last season that he would no longer accept his police escort to games for fear of being shot by the officer.
I kept waiting for someone to point out to Jones that statistically speaking he would be 17 times more likely to shoot the police officer but I guess truth and logic are outdated.

So, he believes there's a REAL THREAT of getting shot by a police officer who has been ASSIGNED to provide HIM PERSONALLY a SECURITY ESCORT??? Sounds plausible.

As I stated a few pages back; I spent the weekend in tally and a friend of mine wanted me to go to a watch party with a bunch of clowns. He said he didn't want to go to the game: a tradition we had for years. So at 10 am I called him and he said he was on his way to the game!!!!!!!!. So I attended a watch party at a local bar (The Corner Pocket). I was the only Gator out of probably 150 noles.

I lived in tally for 11 years back in the 80's and early 90s and married a tally girl who had two degrees from the high wire school. So she was with me, and fortunately a friend, former nole baseball player, also sat with us. More than a few fans told ne I was brave to show up in my colors, but I have always held on to the belief : "if you cn't have a good time don't come to the party"!

So I was the lone cheer when the Gators did something good but I was yelled down most of the time. Actually I had a great time, especially when the sighs of defeat rang out at the whiffle on-side kick. Congrat's to the Gators from pulling thia one out!

Why? A ghey ass song from a junkie that we started playing a few years ago for a losing team?

So so lame.

This needs to go away.

Just for that we’re going to tie you down, affix ear buds to your head and make you listen to Maroon 5 for 10 hours straight.

@PalmBeach_Post: Willie Taggart through 21 games: 9-12

Mike NorveLLLL through 21 games: 8-13

If RGIII insisted on preaching to us about racism during the game, I am surprised that he didn’t grab this low hanging fruit instead of trying to manufacture racism somewhere else.

We all know that there are big differences in the performance of the two coaches but facts rarely stop bogus claims of racism.

Yeah, it's obviously a huge risk for a semi-wealthy, national, on-air talent who wouldn't hesitate for a moment to call the cops on someone who was relieving themselves on his lawn. That entire broadcast was a catastrophic schyttfest of the first order of magnitude. My new favorite social commentator, and self-anointed moral giant RGIII, did his part to shamelessly abuse a sports forum, to scold, berate and insult millions who don't give a damn about being "educated" by a guy who is neither well-informed - nor a particularly insightful observer.

Last but not least - Phukk ESPN and their absolute refusal to follow the damn game - and to treat their viewers with a modicum of respect. I'm a political moderate at heart (think Sen.,JM). But this kind of angry, counter-productive venting, by people who don't have any apparent commonsense or any recognizable good intentions, is destructive and a huge pain in the ass. Anyone spewing anger and condemnation for their audience is part of the problem, not the solution. It's long past time for these ass-hats to come down off their soap boxes and call the frikkin game. TBH, I don't have any choice but to watch ESPN because of the near-monopoly they have on tv sports. But I don't have to listen to the bastards in-game anymore, and I won't.

So what was the mood like when they whiffed the onside kick?

Not really.
I assume he was posing for the woke crowd in an attempt to hide the fact that he lives in a gated, rich whitey community and has no concerns for violence by police or anyone else for that matter.
Besides, ESPN probably extended his contract after his declaration.

BTW, I figure that he has quietly resumed the police escort program now that he got his woke kudos.
