Game Thread ***OFFICIAL GAME THREAD: UF vs Kentucky***

The Swamp, 7:00 PM, ESPN.

Kentucky struggled against Miami of Ohio, carrying a 3 point lead at halftime before pretty well dominating the second half. QB Will Levis threw for 303 yards and 3 TD's (1 pick), but UK was absolutely abysmal running the football, with 50 YARDS on 26 carries. Ouch.

Defensively, they held Miami to 290 total yards (179 passing, 111 rushing), so that's a decent effort.

One game doesn't tell the story for the season, but UK fans can't be that thrilled after that one.

We gotta play better defensively and eliminate the mistakes (penalties) on offense. Solid win yesterday over a pretty damn good football team. 2-0 with wins over 2 ranked teams would be a fantastic start to the Napier era.

I would have told you a few days ago that UK is a better team than Utah. I don't feel that way anymore.

I assume some media dofuses will talk about a possible hangover after last night's close win, but I doubt that will happen. These guys know they lost the KY game last year by dumb mistakes. I think they will be motivated to make things right. Gators by 2 TDs.

Without Rodriguez, they will struggle. Levis is good, but not to the level he was hyped pre-season. UF should win, not crushing win but 10 points or so.

I agree. Utah is a well coached and disciplined team that makes minimal mistakes. Their Oline was physical and pushed us around alot. Their coach could land a better job for sure.

A win by somewhere around 10. That's just a guess because all I know is that KY was gifted 14 points early in the 3rd quarter. Wish I had watched the game.

UK will have no answers for AR. That was some coming out party last night. We’ll struggle on D and make some mistakes, but the O will win this one for us. The line is good. The backs are good and AR is a star that is now comfortable being the man. Another 31 year streak starts next week.

Their supposed to have a decent QB, so I guess the pressure may shift to our secondary in this game. Think I'd rather take my chances with them instead of our d-line. Doubt the QB is as mobile at the Utah guy, so maybe we'll actually sack him a few times.
