If we sell out to stop the run like Colorado did we can win.....If Harvey gets going they will keep our offense on the sideline and win like Miami and TAMU did. We just do not have a "flip of the switch" type offense like Colorado and we need a lot of plays(possessions) to score even 25-30 points against a subpar defense like theirs.

We need to set up the run with the pass and I think the way to do that is play DJ early on. Their defense lacks a steady pass rush and with time I think DJ could find Badger, Dike and Mizell downfield and behind their safeties several times for big plays. For all the yards Sanders threw for on them he wasn't having to make difficult throws and wasn't rushed that much.

On defense again we have to sell out to stop the run. Forcing Jefferson to throw will hurt them more than help them and having a spy on him will be the key to keep his legs from beating us every time on 3rd down.....he will make some plays but that is going to happen....just don't let him turn 5 yards into 15-20 every time he runs.

We have more overall talent but due to coaching the position groups are about equal on both of these teams.

I wouldn't expect the same kind of game from them next week. That hour rain delay had an effect on their team for sure(overhyped to idle).....That said Gus hasn't learned just like Karl hasn't that you can't "pound the rock" 70% of the time on offense unless you a very good offensive line and a stout defense......something both UF and UCF lack.

Those worried about winning this game and prolonging Karl's tenure need to stop...he's already been fired but has been told to hold the position until Urbans contract is finalized or lose his buyout.
UF needs to win this game for pride sake.

The morons in charge will then cross their fingers Tater wins two more games so they can flash a middle finger to the fanbase, retain him, and go full speed ahead to shrinking our stadium. Once they’ve fully downgraded the football program they can go all in on non-revenue sports funded by sec tv money. We’ll be the public Vandy but with more Olympians.

I was being conservative. Last game I predicted almost exactly the passing and rushing yards. With this defense it could be 500 yards.

I disagree slightly with this even though I know where you are coming from. I believe there is enough talent on this team this very year to win 8-9 games with decent coaching....Urbans name will only draw more talent now that Saban isn't the marquee name in CFB anymore....Think of it this way...say you're a 5 star recruit(especially from Florida) and you have to choose between Deboer, Kirby or Urban????

UF MUST AT ALL COST GET URBAN.....It isn't an option at this time.

Didn't watch the UCF game. I understand they turned the ball over 4 times. I can guarantee that even if they try to gift us the ball 5 times we might accept once and then go three and out.

They'll run against us at will. And since we are selling out for the run they'll discover a passing game. DJ might score every time he's put in the game which in Napier's scheme is at most 4 times. It wouldn't be enough.

Funny comments by some that if we do "this, that or the other" we might win. When has Napier ever done "this, that or the other"? That leopard isn't changing its spots. He'll do the same thing he always does.

UCF has been recruiting much better than they did in the past and have had this game circled since before it was scheduled. They'll be ready to play. Us? Has Napier ever had this team ready to play?

TLDR : We don't win another game this season unless it's handed to us on a silver platter and even then I don't trust Napier to not drop it.
