Lagway makes this game considerably more interesting. This is one of the strangest seasons I can recall, when everyone is going to be in denial that UF could win this game, because we don't want to keep Billy.

If the lines play like they did vs UK, UF can absolutely win this game. UGA does not have a good QB this year. While they are terrific defensively, so was Kentucky, and we shredded them.

Discuss.

Talk about mixed emotions winning this game. SMH. But in the end, we must all say F#@K UGAly, you just have to win this game.

Win it no matter what. It's Jawja.

Lagway makes this offense better. He has a lot to tune up, but by far our best option when Mertz was healthy. He elevates the players around him and his ability allows for the weaknessess (like OL) to be compensated for. It will sure be an interesting game.

DJ leads the nation in yards per attempt. Never would have dreamed that was possible under Billy.

I think a weakness of the sport of football is that one position holds so much more power over all the other positions combined. A team with bad QB's has no chance in modern football. On the flip side, a great QB can lift a team to far higher heights than they have any business being in. I remember watching a freshman Jameis Winston lead an average FSU team to an undefeated season and the title. He made a crappy coach (Jimbo Fisher) tens of millions of future dollars with his performance that year.

A good QB gives even bad teams a chance in every game. I think it's obvious that the team responds to Lagway, they played their balls off last night. A good QB is more important than a coach and can manufacture wins that are in spite of a coaching staff, which is really what we saw last night.

UF has a chance in every game left on the schedule.

Georgia's strength on defense is their line and LBs. They are extremely weak in the defensive backfield. Our WRs are much better than their DBs. But, that means nothing, as we like to play Billy Ball. We will run the ball into their DTs time and time again or even worse, run to the left from the pistol formation.

On defense, their strength in the throwing game is their TEs. Our weakness (one of them) is covering TEs.
Losing Marshall may not be a bad thing. The guy just doesn't like to tackle. Cormani showed last night, in limited plays, that he has really great fundamentals in the coverage game. If he can grow up mentally, he can be a star.

With Georgia coming off a huge win, this game looks to be winnable. Let's just hope ETN, Beck and a few of their D-Linemen go out and party this week and get arrested.

Georgia's edge rushers are scary quick. I don't think anyone can contain them.

I thought I made that point. Jimbo Fisher should have a statue of Jameis Winston in his front yard.
