PG: Alijah Martin
SG: Walter Clayton
SF: Will Richard
PF: Sam Alexis
C: Alex Condon

Chinyelu is too green to be a starter. I think he is more of a backup for now. In recruiting, my understanding is that we promised Martin the chance to be the primary ball-handler. I assume that means he will be the starting PG. We will see how it goes. Something tells me Klavzar may end up being the starting PG by the end of the year. With Brown, Aberdeen, Haugh, Chinyelu, and Mikic, we are so deep. If Haugh improves his shooting in the offseason, he could take Richard's spot. I'm excited.

I think Haugh gets more than 15 minutes a game. He was coming on at the end of the season. I'd love to see 6'11, 6'10, and 6'9 on the floor at the same time. And I agree that Klavzar might be getting 20 mintues a game by the end of the year. The rotation Golden has put together is nuts.

I don't expect Mikic or Rioux to play much and we'll probably still see Haugh at the 4.

Seriously, why the hell would you not play a guy that's nearly EIGHT FEET tall? Put him in the middle on defense - you telling me he couldn't change some shots around the basket?

On offense, the freaking guy can dunk without leaving the floor.

CJ Ingram had made a huge jump in the ESPN 100 bball rankings. He is now 70th. I have no doubt he will continue to move up. Lock him up Golden Boy!

I like the fact that CJ openly realizes which sport offers him the best opportunity in the future and he’s embracing it versus deluding himself into believing he can do both or choose at a later time.

Just think what we would be saying now if CMW was still here and CJ was looking at other SEC basketball programs like Auburn instead of UF.

Celery snaps in half pretty decently. But I do like celery, so I'm rooting for the guy.

The point of posting this is Preston's question. Florida Basketball Hour said "Very high." When it comes to Gator basketball, they are connected. But, I always point out that NIL can easily change things.

I wondered why he didn't play a lot in high school. Apparently, he has serious conditioning issues. They aren't going to say. But, I wonder if it is something medical which is why only 2 schools (FAU; Stetson) gave him a scholarship offer. Golden Boy said he will redshirt.

Manute Bol was 7'7" and 200 POUNDS. Yes, 200 pounds. He could not bench the bar when he entered the league (seriously). Yet, he blocked over 4 shots a game in the NBA. He has the 18th most blocks in NBA history. Size and athletically, this dude Rioux is Wilt Chamberlain compared to Bol.

Put him in the middle and opposition layups will be a thing of the past.

I'm fine with him redshirting a year and learning how to really play the game and getting into better shape. They need to borrow the pass machine from the football team and tell him he has to catch 1,000 a day before he can stop.

Definitely this. I’ve watched him play. Hands of stone. I’m not joking. In the 2 games I watched, he dropped so many passes it was embarrassing. I wondered what was going on.

He doesn't need to catch the ball. He only needs to swat the ball.

Only Gator fans could turn their nose up at the tallest player who ever played the game. Ever. In the 100+ year history of the sport.
I don't think anyone is turning their nose up. Just acknowledging that like most walk ons he probably has a lot of work to do before he's going to get on the court.

I think we got a steal and he'll end up playing valuable minutes for us. I think Golden and his staff will coach him up well.

I love that Golden took a shot on him. But, there's obviously a problem since the guy only had 2 offers.
