Now that we have entered the boring summer season, I'm wanting to watch some old Gator games to keep myself some what occupied. I already have some in mind, but I am welcome to any suggestions that someone might think of.

Thanks.

Any game coached by SOS while Headball coach at UF. 2006 USC and OSU, 2008 UGA, Bama and Oklahoma. NOTHING post 2009.

Top two have to be the 96 demolishing of f$u and the 06 plastering of the Bucknuts.

Nothing beats watching complete domination over hated teams for a national championship.

The 08 Championship was a good game, but it was much closer--I'd watch that year's Cocktail Party to see us steamroll the dwags.

96 Natty, 97 FSU, 06 Natty, 08 LSU, 08 Natty, 07 UT, 04 FSU, 20 UGA, 18 LSU. Off the top of my head.

Bowl against WVU is fun if you can find it. 07 and 09 FSU also fun.

On youtube, Big Vol Daddy's It's Ten I See watch of the 2014 Florida-Tennessee game always gives me a smile

The 02 storm in Knoxville is a fun one . Watching the hillbillies butcher under center snaps every other play makes for a great laugh.

My youngest and I just watched ‘97 fsu game Saturday night. Sean McDounough’s voice cracked “behind the defense” call is still perhaps my favorite call of all time. And the nole sitting alone on the bench at the end mad at the world is priceless. It’s why, as a sidenote, I hate what’s happened to college football. That game means essentially nothing today and would simply be a blip on their radar en route to championship. As it was, life came crashing down and what Bowden referred to as his best overall team got nothing while I saw it unfold live.

Agreed on that one. Definitely want to watch the 97 FSU game, the 96 Tennessee game, 96 National title game, etc. I will say that the 2008 and 2018 LSU games were fun. I might include those too.

I'll watch the 08 cocktail party game for the Moreno hit alone.

2008 and 2018 LSU are two of my personal favorites. I will definitely include those. I also quite often go back and watch BVD's Florida heartbreak videos hahaha.

You're right. They have successfully ruined most rivalry games now. The Florida-Tennessee games in the 90's were pretty much the title game for the east. And while I get the financial benefits of adding Texas and Oklahoma to the SEC, it just feels wrong to me.

The playoffs are the most destructive thing that's ever happened to college football

Probably couldn’t be any worse timing for us either. I’d be shocked if the noles aren’t in every season, and UGA will probably add four or five more titles in the next 10 years, especially with Saban out of the way.

Playing several games against other elite teams is going to be a huge advantage for the much deeper teams. You're not going to be able to have one or two good players and surprise somebody every now and then.
