Whatever happened to that Jaylin Jackson kid, doesn't he at least fit the offense? If Toney wasn't hurt I think it'd be him honestly.

5'-9" :eek3: if he sees the field , as the son of a QB, and having played a decent amount, his head will be ok, just a question of the physical. Maybe a fairy tale story to be made, Flutie II, but i really hope we don't have the chance to see it

Man I've been on pins and needles about this as well. If we don't get a good 3rd string qb spooled up pretty quick, we might be in for a long season.

Isn't Sproles still on this team? Thought he would be the next option on the depth chart with Toney out.

I would expect a healthy Toney would get some reps again, just in case.

Sproles is now the 3rd team QB. Matthews kid is one of several other walk-on QBs. I believe Jack Ruskell would be the 4th.

Can we start recruiting QBs from Hawaii? They seem to be more familiar with the forward pass than most kids we recruit.
