Needs to work on his offensive skill set. If he can learn to knock down some short range shots and play with the intensity he did for us, then he can find a spot in the league.

Good for him, he will get some experience (both sports and culture) that will serve him well. In addition I bet a decent pay check as well. Playing international ball is an alternative for those who want such a career. Good luck to him.
