Patric's story is incredible. It doesn't seem fair given how amazing he was on the court, but as he has alluded to God has something else in store for him. He's going to be an inspiration for so many people.

A while. He is either in the chair or seated during SEC analyst shows. I guess he's permanently paralyzed.

Here’s a great article on him.

That was an intense article and very revealing. Really amazing to see him where he is now and even though he can't physically do the things he could do in the past, he seems more at peace.

Just also wanna plug Billy D who had an uncanny ability to transform players into what the team needed. It's why that last final four team was special. Scottie - head case who was almost kicked off the team, but Billy saw a lot in common with him and gave him tough love. Patric - wanted to be a stud offensive player, but Billy had better ideas and transformed him into a beastly defender and floor general. Casey - wanted to be a spot up three shooter, never transferred, and it all clicked his senior year. Will - an after thought in the recruiting process and turned him into a heady defender who could guard three spots and solid rebounder.

I hope Patric looks back on realizes how amazing that team was. Although he had demons he left it all on the floor.
