Here is a complete story for those interested. Look at the pictures in sequence. Looks great in 2021...Looks great and about the same build as me in 2022 boat photo....starting to look scary in picture 3, and for a man in his 30's at his height looks malnourished in picture 4.

He looks fine to me. Picture 3 he is wearing a game jersey for a 300lb lineman and isn't wearing pads. The 4th picture just shows he is skinny, you can't discern whether or not he has lean muscle under the clothing or not.

I’ve already printed those pictures and am hoping to get him to autograph them. Could really be worth something once he…you know…by year’s end.

So you think that someone who is in the mid to late 30's, trained extremely heavy for more than half of those years and lost probably 45% of their total bodyweight, has what looks to be an oversized head, feet, next to no muscle mass on their arms, pencil thin legs, droopy shoulders, isn't in a state of "unhealthiness" or very close to being there?
No I don't. I think he's far, far, far more healthy than he was before. He'll live longer as a result of this weight loss.

Your heart and lungs stop growing when you reach adulthood. They don't get bigger to compensate for all that extra muscle mass a football player adds to his frame in order to compete. Unless you naturally grew to be 300 pounds with a reasonable percent body fat, your heart and lungs can't continue to healthily support that weight. Good for Maurkice and I hope Mike is following.

Losing 40% of their mass in their 30's.......just no dude. They were close to 300# coming out of HS and were probably playing at 320-330 in the NFL....The dude in those pictures is about #170-180 tops. This guy wasn't a medically obese lardass....he was a muscle laden big boy powerlifting in the offseason.
Someone 6'4" at 170 lbs would look like a Tour de France rider.

David Carter was a 300-pound defensive lineman for the Cardinals and Cowboys.

Carter lost 40 pounds in 6 weeks after becoming a vegan and is now a model.

The fact that you can sit here and practically celebrate what was obviously some type of rare bacterial infection that probably almost killed him is appalling to me. It’s bad enough that he undoubtedly had to endure endless needling comments like “hey, when did SNL do a black Sprockets?” after posting that update picture. But this is a new low.

That dude is still carrying probably 240-250 pounds in that picture....should have made the switch to TE.... Still has noticeable traps, shoulders, pecs and tri's...he's healthy vegan or not.....The pictures of Pouncey are lacking those which is probably attributed to metabolic cannibalism (muscle wasting)

It's a shame we couldn't come to an agreement on this topic....you'll have to excuse me, I've seemed to have lost my credit card...
