Plane crash in Statesville N.C.
His wife and son, also 3 more I'm unsure who. They were going to Sarasota for the Xmas drags at Freedom Factory. Biff and Cleetus were close. Greg helped him race Arca, they flew chopper missions to storm victims, and have sons that are the sparkle of their eyes. First time I saw Greg was Daytona in 2000 driving for Roush. God Bless

Did great things in WNC for the hurricane victims.
 
I was a Roush fan and listened to Greg's race on the scanner that first time. Teammate Kurt Busch cried and complained when Greg passed him. Geoff Bodine was the miracle story that day, I think Greg was caught up in that big crash. The photo is when Greg won the title that season. I saw him a lot over the next 10 years, worked at a lot of races with souvenirs in the ISC owned tracks. He was pretty humble, never flashy. He knew he was blessed and never stopped giving back.

    The first movie I remember seeing in a theater with my dad was Easy Rider... other first movies I remember seeing were at the drive in... a double feature of Disney's The Sword in the Stone and... Serpico.
