Does anyone seriously think Moss had the grades to get into UF or ND? There's a reason he chose FSU - same reason Plaxico Burress went to Michigan State - they couldn't qualify academically to get into UF.

He was actually a good student, was even on the debate team in high school. He didn't go to ND because of the fight he got in towards the end of high school that resulted in a short jail sentence. Of course, Bobby just loved the idea of taking in someone with a troubled past, but Randy violated his probation by failing a drug test, leading to his transfer to Marshall.

The charge for the fight was just rediculous. A case of a racially tense town taking down a popular black kid. The guy he got in a fight with was clearly a Neo-Nazi. And who didn't smoke weed? It's not like he stole a taco or barked at a dog or killed someone.
