I can’t believe they actually played that in a blowout loss, and followed it up with fireworks. It’s fine from embarrassing to absolutely humiliating.

I love Spurrier for everything he did for us, but where the heck is he with all this garbage? The most competitive man on the planet, inside the building, and is ok seeing us do that?
Thats why ive insisted that its the WORST "tradition" in all of sport. Its lame as fuchs to begin with, should only be sung by the likes of Kentucky as the hard nosed underdog, and it competely sets up for embarrassment in cases like this. I feel sorry for the fans in the stands that had to endure it.

One big reason these subpar coaches keep coming here to collect their 7-8 figure buyouts in good health is FHP Master Sgt. Calvin Long's towering and sinewy presence on the sidelines. He has the same thankless job to do regardless of the win column, and 14 years of walking off the field in defeat with his charges appear to have taken a toll. He looks so sad after these humiliating defeats, suffering the presence of one naked emperor after another to keep drunk, angry hooligans away. Well, if he ever decides to retire, I had in mind some potential replacement candidates. There's your incentive.

I'd donate $1,000 to Master Sgt. Long's retirement fund if he would pull his Taser out after our next humiliating loss and just Taze the absolute shyyt out of Sun Belt Billy in front of everybody left in the stadium. And then Taze him again right as Sun Belt starts to come to. And then just walk off the job and submit his retirement papers.

Yeah no, organization and sh**. If that makes sense.

Are you referring to putting the recruits we hosted right next to the Miami section? Yeah, well we have about 50 off-field support personnel and analysts that are on top of things like this, strategically thinking through the details-because we all know Billy is detail oriented-of what could go right and what could go wrong in this situation, and the collective brain trust that is BillyBall decided, what the hell, let's give Miami a chance to sink our recruiting class even lower this year than it sank last year.

Yeah, I've said the same thing myself. And then to play it again after the game is just baffling.

If I were hired as the new head coach, I'd demand the band stop playing that song immediately...and permanently. I wouldn't ever want to hear that song played in the Swamp again!

You'd think a detail oriented guy like Billy would be all over this but I guess he was too busy figuring out how to lose in even more embarrassing fashion than he did last year.

Could have been worse. We could have flew to Ireland and lost.

At least we could have drown our sorrows in fresh Guinness over there.

And we probably wouldn't have had to endure seeing any Canes fans there...my guess is that all the South Florida thugs are too broke to afford international airfare and would be denied entry into a foreign country due to too many felony convictions on their records.
