The attention to detail that has plagued the last two football staffs at Florida is horrifying.
I think you meant "The lack of attention to detail".

Shannon also punted on their side of the 50 instead of letting Eddie try a 55 yard FG.....pussy.
I don't like to pick on a specific player but I cannot resist this time so please let me know your thoughts on this because I am dumbfounded by it.
Deandre Goolsby.
When he was a freshman, he couldn't block or run proper routes or even catch very well but.....once he had the ball in his hands, he was dangerous. He could avoid tacklers and even break tackles and always seemed to get 15 yards out of a 7-8 year reception. Although I acknowledged that he had lots of development as a player in front of him, I raved about the potential he had. I even stated that he reminded me of the serial killer when he had the ball.
Now four years have gone by and Goolsby cannot block, cannot run good routes, and cannot catch very well. Due to the continued deterioration of the offense, he doesn't even get his hands on the ball anymore. Is this a function of an inept coaching staff not developing a player or another underachieving player that lacked the commitment to truly get better or both?
Or not, I'm thinking not.I actually think it does. Sit him and let him see the game from the sideline. Don’t let Nuss damage him further.
When we bring in a real coordinator and a real QB mentor/coach, they can put him back in the game.
I agree with you but unfortunately, Zaire has another year and he and LDR will come back next year assuming that they, and they alone are competing for the job. The reality is that the Gatornation wants neither of them to be the starter

The coaches probably cost these kids millions in NFL money.
I don't think anyone cares to listen to Shannon at this point.
We will probably end the UAB game with Dre Massey at QB.
