RIP George Foreman

Foreman explained why he named all 5 of his sons “George”:
"I named all my sons George Edward Foreman so they would always have something in common. I say to them, 'If one of us goes up, then we all go up together, and if one goes down, we all go down together!"

I believe his 4 daughters are named Georgia I, II, III, and IV.

I think he only named one daughter George, Georgia or something like that. All the others had different names. Probably due to the wives; he was married a bunch of times!

Foreman’s style was left-hook, right cross combos / upper cuts. Not so much a dancer / jabber, he knew that the side-to-side snap of an opponent’s head was the quickest path to disconnecting them from their wits.

All his (5) losses came against up-right style boxers who were over 6ft tall…
Shannon Briggs 6-4
Tommy Morrison 6-1
Evander Holyfield 6-2
Jimmy Young 6-1
Muhammad Ali 6-2

He lost to Tommy “the machine” Gunn? He must’ve been drunk that day.

Foreman was 44 y.o. and grossly out of shape for that fight. Morrison wouldn’t have lasted 3 rounds against George in his prime.

Yeah I guess he won the title shortly after that. But that is wacky.

Somebody gave me the grill. I used it once. RIP George.

I met George Foreman at a corporate meeting many years ago. He was a super nice person and very humble guy.

RIP Mr Foreman.

If they search my house, they will find lots of pairs of gloves (and some toddler mittens too). So, the first question is whether the glove in question is connected to the kidnapper. Then, the next question is when was it found and has it been forensically examined. They may have found it right away on day one and just didn't announce it. Evidence is often (almost always) withheld from the public unless it helps the investigation. If it was just discovered, then why the delay? Why wasn't it found sooner? Was it really well concealed? OJ jokes aside, leaving a glove behind is really dumb.
you can also tell these guys are married with a family of their own. Because they didn’t even ask why there was only one glove, and if there was any chance of finding the matching counterpart. They’ve seen this episode before.

I need somebody to make a "CSI: Mayberry" meme.

FNC reporting that a glove has been found inside the Guthrie home. How can it be found 10+ days after the event? Has incompetence impacted every aspect of local/state/fed govt?

Excellent find. The fact that this song was originally performed by Temple of the Dog is clearly an homage to both the weird Epstein rituals and the inevitable shift from fiat currency to Dogecoin. Can’t believe they got Chris too.

in fairness, if this Savannah is anything like my wife, the glove was probably in the toaster oven.
