Man, talk about a Gator football player that got your blood pumping in big games; it was Dupree. Met him in Macclenny in the early 90's. Nice guy; talked with great praise about all the Silver Sixties Gators, especially Spurrier. Larry said his knees still bothered him and SOS said he could come down to Gainesville anytime and use the facilities. They had a friendship.

Good journey, Larry Dupree and Godspeed...

I remember watching Dupree when I was a kid. He was a load to tackle and had pretty good hands on the swing pass.
