Something happened between Bammer and a few other regulars in the Political Forum about a month before the GSMB went down. Bammer had stopped posting in the political forum at that time. Not sure if he was on the Main board or Lounge beyond that point.

Yes there was an overly emotional outburst from one poster related to something that happened in the real world. While I am emotional that issue went way beyond anything that I would do. I also think that keeping the virtual posting world separate from the real world is a good idea. I won't miss Bammer as his wingman is someone who I never want to hear of again. I will adapt to whatever happens. I do wonder if Ox has a list of active posters from the other board, I expect not.
