Who do you think tried to whip him? Offensive or defensive players?
Hopefully Mullen.

Seriously, if true that should be grounds for putting him up on blocks. The only thing laughable was his performance. More Salt Petre than Cialis. This brings back a memory from when c2 Jr. was playing HS baseball. We played Wakulla and Franks was on the roster. Supposed to be a decent player. Didn't see the field that game in a loss to a Class A team. Quit immediately afterward. Always had doubts about him after that. My doubts are being realized I fear.

Is it just me or did the receivers play harder with Trash in there?

I think some have already had enough of Franks.

I can forgive screw ups. Athletes have limitations and if there is no one behind them really pushing them you're going to have few options but to tolerate the mistakes if they've got a good attitude and are earnestly working to be the best they can be. It's another thing to care so little that you don't take your performance and how it affects everyone else that has spent the week working towards a goal with seriousness. It represents a disrespect for those other guy's time and sacrifices, and it's completely unacceptable. If it's true I only regret that we're talking about how it "nearly" happened.

"One guy even said he’d be depressed but the Franks era is over."

Who said that?

I definitely think Franks' performance(s) have been spirit killers. That sh!t about him being a leader in the teams' eyes early on rings pretty hollow about now.

What do we really have to lose giving Trask a chance. I still don't understand why EJ redshirting is so important. Let him play and develop for next year.
