He lost to Utah. Kyle Whittingham maybe?
I bet their QB could be a pretty decent coach, maybe we should hire him!

Dream coach, nightmare job? When Meyer burns out and fails at Jags in a few years he will be ready for his rebirth at Florida.
I think big game Bob beat him once too.
And didn't he lose the Blueberry State in a bowl game?
Auburn - UCF last month hired Malzahn as its coach. Malzahn earned $6,927,589 at Auburn in 2020.
.
No one is going to say anything about this? This could be huge for UCF and the futures of Florida's football schools. This is a rock solid SEC coach leading a school on the come up who already thinks it won a chamoionship. If Gus stays there for 5-7 years the whole florida football landscape may change.
Unless they join a P5 conference they'll continue to be a top G5 program who can knock off a P5 school occasionally - like Boise, Memphis, Cincinnati, etc. They'll never be able to fill their roster w/ enough P5 talent.

Utah definitely out-coached Saban in that Sugar bowl. Another thing that played a huge part too was Left Tackle Andre Smith got suspended for that game because he hired an agent prior to the game. He was very instrumental in the success Bama had that year. Smith was a starter at LT as a true freshman. Ugly as sin but the boy could block...Dream coach, nightmare job?
Utah just out-schemed Bama's big defense. Saban was certainly out-coached that day.
