Good morning folks. Family and I will be heading up to just east of Cincinnati, Ohio this morning for my niece's wedding. Planning to go through Nashville and Louisville on the way up then tomorrow come back home through Lexington (CDville) and Knoxville.

Safe travels. Looks like gorgeous weather today! Stay away from Churchill Downs today.

55 and low humidity going up to 79 in the Bluegrass. Feels like fall. Last year at this time we had 30 days of 100 degrees.

96 here today. Then a predicted hint of Sept weather. Starting tomorrow and for the next 10 days highs are predicted to be stuck in the mid 85s.

Averages for Jax show that the highs start dropping on Sept 7th, and slowly get below the boiling point. I'll take it. Don't know why I care. I'm hunkered down anyway.

It must get really windy. What about lightning / thunderstorms? Tornados?

Last year in the apartment, we watched one of these fronts come through. Our apartment patio faced south, and we could see it rolling in from the mountains - just straight line winds and rain. As it came in you could hear it about a mile out, and then I came through with 80mph winds...was phenomenal! So cool to see from the 16th floor.

So, you are supposed to get temps ranging from 85.4 to 85.6? That about it? Brutal...:bwahaha:
