    Interesting that Mincey is coaching there now. He obviously likes Osifo enough to re-recruit him.

        It's very good to have transfers enthusiastic over coming here. They must be thinking White is gonna lead them to their peak season?

              Congrats to these new transfers and I hope they have outstanding careers, but I hate that the Gator basketball program has come down to bringing in stop gaps to cover up bigger problems.

                I don't disagree, but someone else mentioned it (think it was Marine1) that, if anything, this puts MORE pressure on White to deliver next season.

                The fanbase is fed up and he's shown he can't turn 5* recruits into a competitive team capable of making tournament runs.

                If he can't get it done via the grad transfer portal or via recruiting, then what is he doing here? The University won't really have any more excuses come next season: it'll be Year 7 and he has precisely one Elite 8 appearance--largely with players who weren't his.

                  You still have White and if he can’t get it together it won’t matter.

                  But given where we were a couple of weeks ago we have upgraded the roster.

                  With the exception of Mann being better than the incoming 4/5 star the other 3 are a clear upgrade.

                  I’m very glad to see this. I really want Noah Gurley next. I think he will be a great fit. Then go after a big.

                    I did say this. I don’t believe Stricklin for a second. MW had no pressure on him in the past....too new and a recent Elite 8. He had no pressure on him this year....KJ and Covid. There was zero chance that he would be fired. For the first time he is finally on the clock. He has brought in a talented group that cannot disappoint. If he does....he’s gone. Had he struggled to bring any quality transfers in he would have had another built in excuse that he needed time to rebuild. That’s gone. He needs a big year IMO or his gone.

                                  Men's Final Four Teams Reflect How Transfers Have Taken Control

                                  Very interesting on how the Final 4 teams relied VERY heavily on transfers and in most cases were their stars of the team like Baylor star Mitchell. White pulling in some top flight transfers but can they gel with each other and with the coaches? Right now its looking like a 14-16 win team which gets us on the bubble so that is not good at all.
