CORAL GABLES, Fla. -- Sophomore Tate Martell will miss the Pittsburgh game on Saturday due to a medical leave of absence according to a release sent out by UM on Friday afternoon.

Details have not been provided.

Martell, who has appeared in four games, has split time at quarterback and wide receiver without throwing or catching a pass in a game, and has two carries for two yards.

Martell practiced on Tuesday and did not appear to have any issues during the media viewing period, which was the only one of the week.
