Sounds like they were the only 3 true freshman to practice with the veterans today. Sharpe, Dawson and Tabor are probably the only 3 true freshman that will see significant playing time this season. I thought maybe Willis but it is tough to play a lot as a true freshman at his position in the SEC.

I can see Tabor and Dawson getting a lot of playing time. Sharpe must have really been in good shape when he arrived. I would think offensive line would be the last place a true freshmen would be playing. I also think this days a lot about the coaches confidence in our offensive line backups.....meaning I think they are worried or aren't completely sold on one of the starters.

I read something today that said he (Sharpe) was the only true freshman to pass the physical fitness exam.

I have heard Sharpe is already a man basically and will probably be playing some snaps pretty early in the season.

Thomas, I really appreciate you coming on this board. I'm going to get a 247 subscription because of you. :chomp:

No problem, lot of good posters here. I used to post on GSMB back in the day. Actually got banned from Gator Country once for posting practice reports there my freshman year in college. They thought I was ripping them off from somewhere or something. Kinda funny, later ended up working there and it was kind of an awkward conversation when they asked if I already had a GC account. :rolleyes3:

Thomas figured out that just coming on to boards and talking to people can actually lead to good things. I wish more reporters would do it.

Wouldn't hold your breath. Most reporters seem to hate posting on message boards. I was a message board guy long before I was a reporter, but I think I'm in a very small minority of reporters there.

Message board traffic can be huge. Like it or hate it, they need to get in the middle of their readers and mingle. It pays off.

Especially the sportsguys... if Dooley ever lowered himself to interact with the fans, he might find out what we are looking for in his reporting!

He doesn't care what we want. He's more interested in what to add to his itunes list.

:lmao: I was thinking the exact same thing... His lazy reporting is awful!

I think Dooley is just burned out. Probably fed up with the crazy hate mail and what not. I kinda feel bad for him,it's not like he's allowed to tear muschamp a new one in an article.

I'm sure if you asked him he'd say he is in touch with the fan base!

Seriously? He could care less about the results if it didn't affect what bowl game he gets to attend each year. If we have a mediocre year, I hope we go to the bowl in Shreveport and he gets to stay at the Motel 6 out by the interstate with a Huddle House in parking lot, next to the coin laundry.

Anything but Shreveport. I spent the first 18 years of my life trying to get as far away from Shreveport as humanly possible (five hours wasn't enough). :barfaway:

AI ... pfft. There are no college football games scheduled for tonight, Monday, January 19, 2026, as the 2025-26 season concluded with the College Football Playoff National Championship earlier today at 7:30 PM ET on ESPN between Indiana and Miami. The championship game was the last major college football event, so there isn't another game tonight.
