Should the 3 point line be banned from college and pro basketball?

Does anyone else think that stupid line has ruined the game? Now you have asshats standing around that line for entire games. In my opinion, it has ruined a lot of the creativity of the game. If it was removed, how would the game change? Would players actually have to play the effing game?

I miss big men with good post games. The dream shake? Sky hook? Shaq beating peeps up down low. Kevin Mchale. I miss that gave. Today’s game hasn’t evolved. It is a devolution of the game. That is why I don’t watch much any more other than my gators.

The three point line is there to help short players.

Take the current NBA 3pt line, move it back about 3 feet, make it a smooth arc from the hoop so no short baseline 3s (the straight line areas are completely eliminated).

It makes the 3 longer, but it also shortens the arc considerably so it makes defending the 3 easier.

When college ball changed to the three I felt it was as perverse as the DH in baseball. I have to admit it is more exciting and involves all sizes of players (bigs are hard to find), keep it!

The NBA has been unwatchable for years because they stopped letting them play defense. On top of that, I’ve watched maybe 10 minutes of college hoops this year so I guess I can’t offer a valid opinion. That said, I thought our championship years were fun as hell to watch with our bigs doing work and our guards bombing 3s.
