You know, as I think about this I remember several of the later part of the season press conferences where I thought it appeared coach Mac was holding back tears. And he often made comments to the effect "those guys are giving it their all out there". He knew all along we had several guys playing that had no business playing at all. The more I think about it, the madder I get at that last jerk for leaving us so thin these kids feel like they have no choice but to play through surgery needing injuries. I hope he fails so bad at USCe he never gets another coaching job. Not even in the pee wee leagues as a water boy!

Both lines and our linebackers were the walking wounded the second half of the season. It's a miracle we won what we did with the depth we have at these critical positions. These are the six that had surgery, what about the ones that still need to have rehab due to non-surgery needed injuries that a couple of weeks off would have cured.

Depth is a serious issue. He does not allow you to sit those players that are injured or hurt. This leads to their development being stunted. We've seen this particularly on the o-line.

Brandon Powell was a playmaker early this season. Towards the end, he disappeared. That hurt the offense a lot. All the defense had to do was stop Callaway.

Looking forward to having him be a factor again next season.
