Some interesting numbers here. I know Helm has had his issues, but leaving a starter on the field when you are winning 42-0? I would also have expected the other starting DBs being taken out earlier. Why risk injuries at that point? At the other end of the spectrum is Amari Burney. One snap? Also interesting was Dante Zanders, the athlete formerly known as Dante Lang, getting his first action in since the USF game. Are there are some injury issues with them?

I think Burney got hurt, he played w/ a cast or something on his hand.

There's no rhyme or reason to the snap counts. It's like they have no clue who is actually in the game. I mentioned this before - but 'the smartest guy in the room' decided to leave his STARTING QB in the game, behind his 2nd string OL, up 42-0....in the 4TH QUARTER!!! What a f*cking dumbass!!

Helm playing 100% of snaps is inexcusable. They played the walk-on Moorer earlier in the year 12 or so snaps in one of the first two games, why didn't he step in? Or one of the true freshman? It's ridiculous and goes to the post I made last week about Wingo's mom saying the younger players were upset about not getting garbage time.

They did a good job getting DL rotation, but they need to start playing Humphries and Goods more (they'll be in the rotation next year when all of the DL transfers move on). I think Lang/Zanders has been injured. They like him for some reason, so he'd be getting more reps if healthy.

Where is Elksnis? He played in the early games and now is nowhere to be seen. Maybe they're trying to redshirt him and only getting him in the 4 games he's allowed?

Glad to see the younger OL's getting reps. Tarquin got his first career start. If Fat Todd had done his job we would have had more offensive snaps and gotten more reps for the young guys....but it's just another blown opportunity for development.

Zanders/Lang was on the field for the blocked FG vs. Kentucky. I remember because I had to replay it several times because I wanted to see who it was that made such a piss poor effort on tackling the man returning the ball. He looked like a kicker pretending he wanted to make a tackle but not really wanting too so missing on purpose.

Dez was in on that too, he never looked up - the ball was snapped and he kept his head down, they climbed right over him.

No, commentator made the same mistake. When you are playing FG/PAT the linemen block into their inside gap. Basically snap the ball and pinch inside bc the long snapper isnt really doing anything blockingwise.

It is football 099 kinda stuff.

So after the ball is blocked he's also supposed to let the man returning the ball run right by him for a touchdown? That's what I'm talking about shyt head not his blocking assignment prior to the block. I must of missed that day in football 099 because I thought you were supposed to tackle the man on the other team attempting to score a touchdown. Then again I understand, it's after noon we're all just lucky your still capable of putting almost coherent sentences together.

Garage with zero snaps. Obviously hurt but I haven't heard it mentioned.

Update on Garage? He was hobbled vs Kintucky, and White could barely move. Josh Braun was hurt too much to play at all it seemed.

We have no running game without them and we have no offense except the running game.

So does the new secondary coach get some props?
We dont have a secondary coach.

Safety coach? yes

CB coach, not. Play is about the same there.

Nothing really changes that the scheme itself is atrocious though someone has forced Grantham to do less Granthaming (more heavies on DL, less zero high bltizes, less way off man coverage more jamming or at least one stiff arm type contact at the line).
