Never mind. Seems like you've found it. But it asks me for a url, not an upload.
Not the picture button. Click the A on the right next to the smiley face. The image icon is in there, fifth block from the right.

Yup, it works! Or at least it works if you provide the image url from another site. That's what I just did.
