I really liked him as well. But the word out of Camp is that Lagonza Hayward is special.

Hayward (in High School) reminds me of Gates. He was really good as a WR. On defense, we don't know because there wasn't too many QBs that could throw.

I was tempted to go there myself, but the qualifier of “true safety” told me it would just lead to a semantics argument, a breakdown of scheme, a loosely worded insult, random Spurrier reference, Driskel slight, and then of course, a reference to the performance of those guys in ‘23, which is really irrelevant to the original point that they did in fact start as freshman.

He’s still Top-5 in my book though.
