For those who haven't been paying attention--we have a possible T/S or Hurricane heading for the northern gulf coast later this week. Not a lot of lead time this go around---should be affecting gulf coast as early as Wed.

Not sure how to imbed so you get the motion in it, but this is what I found so far. Actually it is the same animation in the OP. Appears to have it coming ashore east of Panama City. Click the link just below the map--you can play with the animation mode there.

This isn't the EURO and it shows it further to the west. There's no consensus at this point. Several are predicting Cat 2 at landfall.

Looks like the Panama City area is in the cross hairs?
Might take a glancing blow on the eastern side of Trailerhassee.
      Speaking of trailers:

Joanne Palazzi, 77, told the paper it was going to be her first time riding out a storm in her mobile home.

"Mobile homes are very, very scary (during storms)," she told the Tallahassee Democrat. "And especially — look at the trees."

      Brilliant observation.

Mobile home parks are magnets for Tornadoes, Hurricanes and meth.

And just a shade east of PC is Mexico Beach where we used to hang out in the summer.
Petticoat Junction and Miracle Strip amusement parks were the sh!t back in the day.

I worry about the carolinas there might be new flooding from the rain. I dislike them using overly emotional terms for the effects, it is a cat 3 which is a decent cane, but not really a catastrophe, that would be cat 5.
