I have a 2 lb pail of bacon grease I bought for biscuits and frying. I think I'll season it a couple of more times with that.

I think BS’s website says not to use animal fat to season it but that’s what we used. I think it works well. Originally I cooked bacon on it to season it and we’ve never had issues with food sticking. After cooking and then cleaning it, we spray it with olive oil.
