ESPN just completed a survey of the top 300 recruits. One result really shocked me and makes me wonder if we need to make some major improvements. The following is a basic breakdown of how the question was answered: Recruits also were asked which of the schools they've visited had the best facilities? The runaway winner was Alabama, as 24 percent of the recruits listed the Crimson Tide. One prospect called Alabama's facilities "the Taj Mahal of college football." Tennessee was second, followed by Ohio State and Texas, and then Texas A&M, Clemson, Georgia, Nebraska, Penn State and Arkansas. How could Tennessee have better facilities? Jawja? Clemson? Nebraska? Arkansas? Are they just getting a lot more visits, from the top 300? That's the issue I have with this survey. None of the recruits visit every school. Some schools, like Bamer, are getting far more visits than we are. We did finish among the top for the best atmosphere. Do you believe that we need to make some improvements?
