Taggart looked like a deer in the headlights last night and did not seem very articulate. FSU is stuck with him for quite a while with his big buyout and their tight budget. FSU has top talent but they are just poorly organized.

If FSU starts getting bad injury luck there will be a shift in the force back to UF. UM losing to LSU should help if UF can beat LSU. Uf looked very organized with its new system installation unlike FSU.

It is very early and UK looms but a crack of Gator sunshine may be creeping out from behind the clouds.

Anyone who watched Miami last year knew they were fools gold. FSU under a 47-51 Taggart was going to be questionable. He is from the Harbaugh coaching tree, and had minimal success. I'm in a wait and see approach before saying we will be filling the void. FSU hired a coach more questionable than Jimbo. Miami hired Richt, and we all know Richt.

It will be hard for FSU to fire Tagart. He pledged 1 million towards their proposed Football center plus he has a big buyout so they are likely stuck with him. He did inherit good talent but he was outcoached last night. Loved how the camera kept focusing on him every time after his team screwed up. Last night was a disaster for FSU. That humiliating loss will not be good for FSU's attandance.

Good posts Professor. Spot on. That One Million Dollar donation was strategic on Willie's part. He knows he is in over his head. I'm not seeing much upside with Willie.

Willie’s only been running his offense for 3 years. He was running a West Coast offense his 1st few years at USF. He realized it wasn’t working, so he went to his spread, where BJ Daniels (who is very underrated IMO) excelled for 2 years.

He then did his thing at Oregon to mixed results.

Now, the Noles have hitched their wagon to a mediocre coach with an unproven offense.

It was clear the play calling was a dumpster fire (wild cat on 3rd & goal from 10, keep going east-west even though it was getting nothing....), which is to be expected from running an offense on its 3rd year of implementation.

Clemson’s gonna skull frick Slick Willie.

I’m standing firm on my 1-2 prediction for FSU. They’ll lose to Syracuse in game three

“I look at it as a game against a good football team. We’ve got to play much better. We played a sloppy game. That’s on all of us—starting with me. We’ve got to do a better job.”

Did Taggart steal that line from McElwain? FSU is royally fuked.

Taggart signed a six-year, $30 million deal to become head coach at FSU. He will be under contract until January 31, 2024.

If Taggart is fired by FSU at any point, Taggart will receive 85 percent of the remaining compensation left on his contract. The payments would be made on a monthly basis over the remaining term of the contract.

If Taggart decides to leave FSU, it would cost him $5 million or, if his remaining contract is less than that, the remainder of his contract.

FSU will also pay Taggart's $3 million buyout to Oregon and the remaining $1,370,122,.28 that Oregon paid to South Florida when it bought Taggart out from the Bulls following the 2016 season.

Out of all that - Willie might make $50k by making a bowl.
Good luck cracking that 950 APR (they were at 941 last year).

Taggart's offense's new name is "lethal stupidity". Looks like it will be lethal to FSU offensive recruiting

Yes, this F$U stuff is real:

"Lethal Simplicity" on Offense
"Bad Asses War Daddies" on Defense.
