I'm not much of a betting man. And I truly hope Mac works out. I think he's a good coach. He just needs to figure out recruiting.

So poor recruiting falls on the shoulders of a guy who's played 6 games and essentially left the team last October. Wow!

We were on fire with Grier after the Ole Miss game and would have ended the season much better than we did. Recruiting is about momentum and we had none at the end of last year.

Mac hasn't been here 3 years.....and his first class he had like 2 months to pull in.

What kind of momentum did Georgia have last year? Treon beat them. They fired their coach and hired a guy that's never been a head coach. Yet they're rank 6 right now. Is it Grier's fault that Kirby Smart is recruiting so well?

What about Jim Harbaugh? What has Michigan won in the past 20 years? They're ranked fifth and they have to recruit a crap cold Midwest.

What about Mark Richt who was fired and took over at a school that has never won its conference? They are now ranked 9th. Is that Grier's fault?

Heck Mississippi State, Rutgers, Iowa and even Muschamp are all ranked higher than us right now. What kind of "momentum" do those teams have? Is all that because of a 6 game starter?

None of Miami, UGA, or Michigan went through what we did with Muschamp. We've had YEARS of complete ineptitude on offense. It's going to take some convincing (on the field) to start landing bigger fish on O.

And I'm not surprised Michigan is doing what they are doing with an EX NFL COACH who has been to a Super Bowl. Mac was an unknown as a HC and it'll take him some time.

As for this year, do you really think Miss St, Rutgers, Iowa and USC finish above us? Again, I would set up a friendly wager if you'd like. Chill out dude the season hasn't even started yet.
