Ted talk from a hospice nurse who helped 10,000 veterans die; a lot of "data" to base her assertions on sociologically and psychologically.

So many neat things, heartwarming things, thought evoking things, but the best:
  • Stop Being Afraid of Emotional pain
  • Learn how to mourn losses and forgive hurts causes by us and hurts caused to us.
  • Recognize that hate, despair, and hostility are the ACTING OUT(her emphasis) of unmourned losses and hurts.
Wow is all that true in my life. That is the work I did to get well, as do other survivors. It would seem to apply in all sorts of places. Only 17 minutes and worth each one. If you are an atheist insert "humanity" for "soul", still applies. If you are a spiritual person it will really move you.

Helped 10k vets die? I think you mean helped 10k dying veterans. I'll admit I didn't watch the whole thing but saw nothing about assisted suicide.

You did not watch it, she held their hand, and made observations useful to ALL humanity. Dare you to take the time to watch and not walk away with SOMETHING that makes you think...
