Huepel is pushing 650 right now in a superficial, central Florida city where looks are still somewhat valued and pressure to win is at a minimum. Put him in a setting where pulled pork is considered an exercise, bbq sauce flows like wine, and fans are already rounding up tires to burn for the next firing and he’ll be an A&E crisis show within a year.

I wonder why anybody with decent prospects would take that job or the coaching position. They will be getting punished and their brand has a lot of competition even in the state. Without great players expectations better be low. Same for our Gators without great players a NC is not happening.

Lol. This guy stepped in a huge mess. I just don't see anyone of note willing to clean it all up and be on sanctions. At this point Tennessee is not a step up from Clemson OC.

Are they even going to have someone hired by Signing Day? A long coaching search will be detrimental to this class, and considering they have a full recruiting class worth of transfers (and I'm sure lots of kids who signed in Dec. will leave too), this is going to be tough to come back from even without the NCAA sanctions. Include those and this will almost feel like the death penalty for them.
