Okay, had to have some brake work done anyway so I figured it was time to clean up and paint my calipers. After 26 years they were....uhhh....disgusting. After hours and hours of prep I got them cleaned up. I also completely rebuilt the calipers, something I've never done before.

Nice work but you should have gone yellow...that would look sick against the red car!

And I bet it stops better now too.

On a side note, I hope you didn't go full carbon-fiber on the pads. While they work better and don't produce the dust that we all hate, they hold more heat and will soon warp your stock rotors. You'll feel a wobble-ing effect when you brake.

If you want to go full carbon-fiber then you should also change out the rotors to slotted and drilled so they'll dissipate heat faster.
