I'm old enough to remember them getting mad at Trump when he said that he would not promise to accept the results of the election regardless of the outcome...

    Yet, look at:

    Al Gore
    Hillary Clinton
    Stacey Abrams
And they're already saying Pubs are going to cheat in 2020...

We live in a country right now where the vast majority of people have dug their feet in the sand with their respective "side." The "middle" is far smaller than it was 10 years ago... which is why we have such polarizing views in politics... A lot of that has to do with who people listen to...

Fox News, Daily Wire, Breitbart= Conservative

New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, MSNBC, Vox, Huffington Post (you get the point:D)=Democrat...

To avoid that polarizing view... we should all try to listen to both sides as much as we can... which I try to...

Even then, I still think the Democratic Party is crazy right now... :D:D:D

I'm not so sure. I think the independents are larger group than have ever been but I don't want to take the time to find a link for that . I suppose I could be wrong.

For whatever reason when I was looking at the underlying data for Rasmussen polling, they were using like 33, 33 and 33. now I'm pretty sure that 33% Independents is exaggerated. I think it's more like 42 42 and 16 or so. nationally. but of course nationally doesn't matter really all that matters are polls in purple States.

Riots driving the 65+ crowd to Biden's column I guess.

Sadly the only gas lighting going on here is the one we're doing to ourselves. This one is gonna hurt.

I'll just drop this right here....oh and don't forget to factor in the silent majority on top of these newest polls that are from likely voters.

Just as many times as you. Difference is, I don't buy the hype being pumped. See, on Nov 4th, when I wake up, I won't be disappointed. If Trump wins it will be a happy surprise. If Biden wins, it will be what I expected.

I gave up hoping or expecting the best in any capacity long ago. That way only leads to disappointment.

The old Daly Chicago machine used to wait for the down state vote so they knew how many votes they needed.

The important thing about vote by mail is that it is MORE likely to get votes from those who are NOT enthusiastic about their candidate. Simply, more convenient.

I am reminded of this sentiment from 2016 post-election morning (the whole thing is worth watching) that talked about the LACK of enthusiasm for Clinton and then how the media was "all-in" on a narrative and it still didn't produce a win.

I think the Dems thought that mail-in is the best way to steal an election victory from the jaws of defeat.

Biden up 21% with independents now - Trump won them by 4% in 2016.

I find it difficult to believe that the left will be more enthusiastic about Biden than they were Hillary.

Furthermore, I find it difficult to believe that Trump will find less enthusiasm than he received in 2016.
